"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"

That also means the following:

It’s never good enough.😐

From a perfectionist’s perspective, the temptation to get everything “just right” is overwhelming.👉 Overthinking, tweaking, doubting, and adjusting until you’re exhausted.

(Check my previous posts if this feels familiar!)

Better, better, and even better…

But here’s the problem:

🔻 Every improvement you make will feel like a downgrade to someone else.

🔻 Every adjustment you make will have one person saying, “I liked it better before.”

🔻 And another saying, “Now it’s finally better!”

So… who do you listen to?

❌ Trick question, of course. ❌

If you keep relying on the outside world, you’ll never get the same answer twice.

It will never be finished, never “good enough.”

Perfectionism thrives on the idea of “not good enough.”

🛑 Delaying decisions.

🛑 Obsessive overthinking.

🛑 Feeling stuck.

🛑 Going in circles.

When this happens, trusting yourself is the best thing you can do.

But it’s also the hardest.

And you know what else is hard?

Asking for help. 🆘

“I should be able to figure this out on my own.”

Sound familiar? Another unhelpful thought that leaves us feeling isolated.

Here’s the truth:

You don’t have to do it all alone.

And yes, you’ll never please everyone.

But you can get it right—if you do it your way, for yourself.

Let me help you take that first step.

Perfectionism, part 5: Join me this week as I cover perfectionism
